Radio Show: Thursdays, from 6-8pm on Free Radio SAIC
The Creative Writing Guild aims to share experimental and traditional writing from the SAIC writing community. This includes but is in no way exclusive to the BFAW and MFAW programs, and a great opportunity for students not affiliated with those programs to get their writing read. Last year the CWG put out 4 publications, and a collaborative publication with the student group Xerox Candy Bar. It also
sponsored and organized two reading series. This year the CWG will have a weekly radio show on free radio SAIC to share auditory, spoken, and recorded works. CWG will also continue our bi-semesterly publication, and to schedule reading series. The guilds meeting will take place every Monday from 4:30-5:30 in room 315 of the Michigan Bld to discuss future publications, readings, works in progress, pre-record for the CWG radio show, and write together.
